ExtraCare Charitable Trust was recently treated to a cookery demonstration by VfL Roving Chef, Justina.
Residents learned how to make butternut squash macaroni cheese, banana and peanut butter milkshake and hazelnut truffles.
The retirement village, which is on the outskirts of Birmingham contains 180 apartments and houses more than 200 people.
Justina says she kept the recipes simple, and that residents can alter the ingredients according to their preferences.
