VfL chef delivers marvellous menu

Posted by Ollie on 17/09/25 in VfL News and Events

VfL treated older people living with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, and their carers, to a demonstration of inspiring and healthy food.

VfL Roving Chef, Ollie, hosted the event at the Friendship and Memories Café in Faringdon, Oxfordshire. His sumptuous menu included pea and lavender soup, accompanied by flatbreads, followed by marinated courgette ribbons with tangy salsa verde, which he made entirely from raw ingredients. To finish, Ollie made chocolate pots.

The café is run by Home Instead Charities and also supported by Dementia Oxfordshire.
