Nominations are now open for the 2026 VfL Awards for Excellence in Veg*n Care Catering, celebrating the people, products and organisations helping to raise the standard of vegan and vegetarian catering in care homes and hospitals across the UK.

This year marks a special milestone as we celebrate 10 years of recognising excellence in veg*n care catering. As more vegans and vegetarians move into residential care every year, these annual awards continue to shine a spotlight on those leading the way with delicious, nutritious and inclusive food.

The awards recognise excellence across five categories, from outstanding care caterers and innovative suppliers to chefs' favourite products, inspiring recipes and individuals whose dedication deserves special recognition.

We're also delighted to be returning to the Houses of Parliament for this year's awards ceremony, which will take place on Wednesday 4 November 2026.
