Our Main Meals selection of recipes includes ideas from Rose Elliot, the Vegetarian Society, the Vegan Society and the Cordon Vert Cookery School.   • Mushroom and Ale Pot Pies

    Dietary requirements: Dairy-free, Egg-free, Kosher, Vegan
    More comfort food, this is ideal for an autumn evening. You’ll need two small ovenproof pie dishes (about 350ml capacity each). Use a vegetable stock cube to make the stock.
  • Root Vegetable Tagine

    A super-easy dish that’s sure to warm you in winter months. Serve with herbed couscous or creamy mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables.
  • Fake Steaks

    * If preparing for someone who eats kosher, check they are happy to eat Henderson's relish, which contains spirit vinegar. This ingredient is optional.

    Officially, korma is the nation’s favourite curry. You can easily vary this recipe with other seasonal vegetables… or maybe add some chickpeas?​
